Key Customization Tips for Singapore:

  • P-Plate Drivers: If you intend to rent to someone with less than 2 years of driving experience or under 23-25 years old, standard commercial insurance excess in Singapore typically doubles or requires a loading fee. Make sure to adjust Section 4.2 accordingly.

  • EV Specifics: If renting out an Electric Vehicle (EV), consider modifying the fuel clause to a Battery Charge Policy (e.g., "Return with at least 20% charge or same level as handover").

  • E-Hailing/Delivery Banning: If this is a private rental and you do not want the vehicle used for Grab, Gojek, Lalamove, or NinjaVan deliveries, add a clause stating: "The vehicle is for personal use only and shall not be used for hire or reward, including e-hailing or commercial delivery services."

Key Provisions Included:

  • Singapore-Specific Jurisdiction Rules: Covers standard Traffic Police and LTA requirements regarding moving violations, ERP obligations, and license validity (Class 3/3A or recognized IDPs).

  • Insurance & Excess Framework: Clean structured table to input your Own Damage Excess and Third-Party Excess values along with a dedicated option for a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) upgrade.

  • Cross-Border Clauses: Clear checkbox section to easily permit or prohibit driving the vehicle across the Causeway into Peninsular Malaysia.

  • Commercial Restrictions: Express clause banning unauthorized e-hailing or delivery usage (e.g., Grab, Gojek, Lalamove).

  • Handover Checklist: Built-in section to record exact mileage and fuel/EV battery status during vehicle pick-up and drop-off.

How Bestar Singapore Can Help

Expanding a business or managing an enterprise in a major global hub like Singapore brings immense opportunity—but it also brings strict regulatory frameworks. Between navigating ACRA compliance, handling complex IRAS tax filings, managing Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations, and executing strategic corporate restructuring, business leaders face major operational hurdles.

That is where Bestar Singapore comes in. As a leading all-in-one corporate services provider and an ACRA-registered Public Accounting Corporation (PAC), Bestar delivers transparent, cost-effective, and practical business solutions tailored for local entrepreneurs, growing SMEs, and multinational corporations alike.

1. Seamless Singapore Business Setup & Incorporation

Singapore is consistently ranked as one of the easiest places in the world to do business, with company registration often processing in as little as one business day. However, doing it right requires an intentional setup. Bestar simplifies this transition using a structured, three-phase framework:

[ Phase 1: Onboarding ] ──> [ Phase 2: ACRA Filing ] ──> [ Phase 3: Post-Filing ]
  • Fact-finding • Name approval • UEN generation
  • Document collection • Official registration • Bank account setup
  • KYC / AML checks • Registered office active

  • Phase 1: Discovery & Documentation: Bestar handles essential document assembly and conducts necessary Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks to secure a smooth launch.

  • Phase 2: Execution & ACRA Submission: Your approved company name and official registration details are directly processed through the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).

  • Phase 3: Post-Incorporation Activation: Once your Unique Entity Number (UEN) is generated, Bestar coordinates corporate bank account introductions with top-tier financial institutions and activates your business address.

2. The Core Pillars of Bestar’s Corporate Ecosystem

Maintaining a company in good standing involves continuous administrative oversight. Bestar serves as an integrated ecosystem, eliminating the friction of managing multiple third-party vendors by covering five core pillars:

Business Pillar

Essential Functions & Regulatory Coverage

Company Incorporation

Fast ACRA registration, local and non-resident setups, and corporate banking introductions.

Corporate Secretarial

Fulfilling the mandatory statutory requirement under the Singapore Companies Act, maintaining registers, and managing timely ACRA filings.

Accounting & Tax

Routine bookkeeping, preparation of annual financial statements (SFRS/IFRS compliance), IRAS corporate tax filings, and GST advisory.

HR & Work Passes

Managing payroll outsourcing, HR compliance, and securing Ministry of Manpower (MOM) approvals for Employment Pass (EP) and S Pass applications.

Advisory & M&A

Providing expert business valuation, financial due diligence, and comprehensive Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) support to preserve and add corporate value.

3. Rigorous Audit & Assurance Services

For larger enterprises and regulated firms, independent verification is critical for legal and corporate stability. Bestar’s Audit and Assurance practice delivers deep statutory oversight with a simple methodology: we focus on understanding your financial data, identifying critical components, and actively reducing operational risk.

  • Statutory Financial Audits: Essential for companies exceeding the small company audit exemption thresholds (such as annual revenue or total assets exceeding SGD 10 million, or more than 50 employees).

  • Specialized Assurance for Financial Institutions: Providing required independent annual audits and preparing Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulatory returns for Fund Management Companies (FMCs).

  • Targeted Attestations: Independent verification for government grant claims (such as ESG or EDB grants), Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUP), and internal control reviews to prevent financial error or fraud.

4. The Bestar Edge: Transparent, Direct, and Scalable

The corporate services sector in Singapore is highly competitive, but Bestar sets itself apart by prioritizing the actual day-to-day experience of the business owner.

Direct Communication via Dedicated WhatsApp Groups Traditional corporate support frequently bogs down in slow email threads. Bestar resolves this by establishing dedicated WhatsApp chat groups for clients, placing in-house accounting, corporate secretarial, and tax experts directly in your pocket for real-time answers.
  • Clear, Publicly Available Pricing: Hidden compliance costs can severely disrupt a company's cash flow. Bestar maintains total pricing transparency with rate sheets available upfront—ensuring zero unexpected add-on fees.

  • Proven Institutional Trust: Trusted by more than 1,000 active Singapore companies and backed by verified, high-satisfaction ratings on independent review platforms like Trustindex.
