CIT Rebate for the Year of Assessment ("YA") 2024 and a CIT Rebate Cash Grant
The Singapore government has announced a Corporate Income Tax (CIT) Rebate for the Year of Assessment (YA) 2024, along with a CIT Rebate Cash Grant for eligible companies.
CIT Rebate for YA 2024
50% Tax Rebate: All tax-paying companies, both resident and non-resident, will receive a 50% rebate on their income tax for YA 2024.
Maximum Benefit: The maximum total benefit (rebate + cash grant) is capped at $40,000.
CIT Rebate Cash Grant
Eligibility: Companies that employed at least one local employee (Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident) in 2023 are eligible.
Grant Amount: Eligible companies will receive a $2,000 cash grant.
Payment: The grant will be paid out by the third quarter of 2024.
